Pokemon: Didn’t Catch Them All – Part 3

This is the third and not the final part for this mini series. I was finally able to finish the game and have my official opinion ready to go: I loved it. One of the best Pokemon games I have played to date.

The best I ever played was Pokemon Silver, but Sword is super close.

In the previous part I mentioned all the things I liked about the game, and I can confirm all of those features work well.

I have not caught all the Pokemon yet, but might try to catch a bunch more.

For those of you interested in playing the game I highly suggest getting and not paying attention to any of the complaining from the general public. Those of us who like games and what Pokemon games bring to the table, really enjoyed the game. Sure it’s got its flaws, like the rival you get is meh, but it’s still an amazing game.

I mentioned in the previous article Pokemon games are going to start having expansions. I am really looking forward to that. I didn’t really like the mechanism behind getting a second edition of the same game, but with more features. It made me not buy the original that came out and just go for the second release. I am hoping this expansion thing really works out and they continue going in that direction.

With the expansions happening later this year, I will be writing more about the game as I am hoping to play those later. There are also some things I have not done yet in the game and might do that at some point to and will probably just update this article. Some of the things I would still like to experience are a max raid at some point, as well as learn some new recipes for camping with pokemon. I completely forgot that those things were even in the game until just now.

So after almost 40 hours of playing the game, there are still things to discover and enjoy, I don’t know what to complain about.

I know this ended up being a really short post, but my time to write is limited and I just wanted to make sure I post something this month and try to maintain a minimum of one post a month schedule.

I streamed all the play sessions live and you can watch the replay of that here: Youtube.

Thank you all for reading and and hanging out with me in the stream chat.

See you in the next one!
