Last Tuesday, Blizzard released the first part of what they call the War of Thorns. This is the pre-patch event leading up to the expansion Battle for Azeroth. Now this is only the second pre-patch event I have participated in from the start, the other being the Legion expansion.
And it has been a complete let down so far.
I was so excited to log in, I kept myself spoiler free the whole time. I start the quest expecting to get into something cool battles for the Night Elf city… instead I get a bunch of kill 10 of these and right click the guy with a question mark above his head quests. I mean come on… it took me 20 something minutes to complete it. That was it.
I understand that expecting something of Legion level, is probably asking a lot of Blizzard, but its freakin Blizzard…
Needless to say I was very disappointed.

Now if only they spent that much time and effort on the actual story of the pre-patch event.
This most definitely knocked some excitement out of me, I guess we will have to wait and see what happens next week.
