Once again my plans to write more consistently did not work out. But I got good news: The new expansion for WoW is coming out! Today was the day that pre-patch went live. Nothing exciting yet, just a complete rewrite of classes. I was never particularly good at figuring out what the big difference is for classes between each expansion, I just visit a website that tells me to do something a certain way and I do that.
With that being said, I am really excited to see what this expansion will bring. I am really happy about the fact that we won’t be dealing with the stupid looking green color palette that was the last expansion. Man that log in screen was just…. a mood killer for me. Also not a huge fan of fighting demons in general. But you know it needs to be done so I did it. In BFA we get to go back to the Horde vs Alliance theme, that I love so much!
I read Before the Storm, so I am informed as to what the setting is when we go into this expansion.
Can I just say: Arthas has a sister… wow. Why? There must have been a better way to write that in, maybe the surviving son of the sister or something, just felt really weird.
Regardless it is what it is, and I am willing to look past that whole thing and see what happens in this expansion.
My goals for this expansion:
- Stick it out to the end
- Learn to tank instances
- Figure out the lore
- Gear myself for the final raid!
- Level fishing
We will see if I am actually able to do any of those.
