2018….

Somehow 2018 rolled around and just kind of started.

I guess it would be fitting to explain what happened to me last year and why I didn’t write.

2017 was a very interesting year. There some really exciting (another word for stressful) things happening. I lost an old friend to gun violence. I got an incredible new position at work. Those are two very opposite sides of the emotional spectrum, I know. But that just goes to show how varied the events have been in 2017.

Part of the reason I couldn’t/wouldn’t post is because I just had no time. There were things that needed my attention much more than writing. I don’t want to stop writing though, I enjoy it.

So for 2018, I would like to continue writing. I still have a couple of unfinished series I would like to finish up. I will try to plan less ambitiously this time around. Maybe one article a month? That sounds reasonable to me.
