Its been a while since my last post. You know life has been interesting ever since then. I am not going to talk about it all, but I will mention a few things.
As I mentioned we have moved to a different state, had a very interesting experience doing that. It was a lot of fun and some challenges, but nothing my family couldn’t handle.
This was a gaming blog, and I have continued to game even though I didn’t write about. I just didn’t know what was worth saying anymore. I have found that I lost the adventures side of me when it comes to video games. I play the same ones over and over. How much can you write about the same game? The games I continue to play are World of Warcraft Classic, EVE Online, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10. I found myself going back to the good old days very often.

One new game that I did play and have wanted to play for a while is Chrono Trigger. How I got into that game is I got a birthday gift this year, it was a Steam Deck. The best piece of technology for gaming since the PC. So I of course promptly went in and started installing old games on it, to play the roms and isos of my favorite games that I used to own. Some I have beaten when I was a kid, some I have not. Chrono Trigger is the later. I did beat it, and I am not sure it is the most incredible game that all games should be judged by. It is good however.

The Steam Deck actually was a pivoting point for me in gaming. After seeing how well Linux performs on it and how open it is, I went ahead and changed my main Gaming Rig to a Linux Distro by the name of CachyOs. Enjoying it so far. Why the switch? Windows and Microsoft, have lost all of my love and respect. For many reasons.
This blog used to be my only writing outlet, I have recently acquired a mechanical Typewriter again a gift from my beloved wife. I started typing on it. What an experience that has been. I highly recommend it. It relaxes you and centers you as you are putting ideas on paper. It is much harder on the typewriter than it is on the computer, but so much more fun. The physical letters appearing on a page after each keystroke, is almost a surreal feeling, hard to describe. Which I think is funny considering that for a long time it was the only way to get information on paper. For some it was the way of life, for us a look into the past of a far more interesting generation than our own.

Every year I get a desire to come back and write more on this blog and every year I push it off until I can’t any longer and just do it. This post is that moment of me not being able to hold back any more.
I am truly considering making this a regular event, maybe once a week or something?
We shall see.
