Stay Classy WoW: Outline

I am starting a new series I am calling it Stay Classy WoW. The idea here is to document my journey through WoW Classic. I have done a sort of a prequel series called A is for Azeroth, in which I recounted my journey through 15 years of WoW.

It’s not everyday that you get to go back to that game and play it again and see if anything changed for you. I don’t know how far I will get… Without giving out too many spoilers for the future articles, the game is hard… Much harder than the current iteration. The grind is real, the sense of danger is real. All of which can add to stress, of which I have plenty as is. So we will see. But as a brief outline I would like to propose a couple articles as checkpoints, some of these will be realized and some will not, but we will strive to achieve them all!

Outline:

• First week review
  • Introduction to the series
    • State the goals of this play-through(Why am I doing this again?)
  • What class and race I picked and why
  • This one may be combined with the next one, as I think they will be one and the same we will see
  • People being helpful/being helpful is a selfless deed in Classic
  • Professions mattering
  • Group play a need not an option
• Getting Level 10
  • May be combined with the one above, however I do think there is enough different stuff happening once you hit level 10 to warrant its own post 
  • The amount of content will dictate if this will be and article or a part of another article
• Getting Level 20
  • Level 20 is when you got some new upgrades to your character, and some of the coolest zones will be available on the Alliance side.
• Getting Level 40
  • This one is probably the biggest marker of your dedication in the game, it’s too late to turn back now, you only have 20 more levels to grind.
  • Realistically this one would be a stretch for me to get to.
• Getting Level 60
  • The goal of going through all that grind, you finally did, you made it! I would like to see if my leveling experience this time around will be similar to what I described in A is for Azeroth
  • As the previous article is a stretch to get to, this will be more so. Hopefully I will get there, but if not that’s alright too, I won’t be too mad with myself.
• What to do now?

So that’s the brief outline that I am going for. Again some of these will happen some will not, I am enjoying the game so far, but it is a very time consuming game. I may not have enough things happen in the game to keep the series going on a consistent basis. I also would like to write a bit about other games I am playing or played. 

The key phrase here is we will see!
